What you'll be doing
The Maintenance Supervisor, Forensic & Analytical Science Service (FASS) is a hands-on, independent role suited to a trade-qualified professional responsible for performing and coordinating maintenance tasks across Forensic & Analytical Science facilities. The role’s primary responsibility as part of Facilities Management, is to ensure the safety, functionality, and compliance of building infrastructure and equipment on the FASS Lidcombe campus.

- Current Trade Certificate in electrical, plumbing, carpentry or similar.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering facilities maintenance services within healthcare, government, or similarly regulated environments
- Demonstrated sound understanding and application of relevant legislation, policies, and professional standards in the areas of Facilities Management and work health and safety principles and guidelines.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of business concepts and basic computer literacy skills, including use of maintenance systems and documentation tools
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating and overseeing contractors or service providers, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
- Current NSW Drivers License and ability and willingness to travel for work purposes
