The Role:
The purpose of this position is to ensure the delivery of quality and effective food and cleaning services, primarily to the Residents of Garrawarra Centre but depending on service requirements this could also include The Sutherland Hosptial, in accordance with the NSW Food Safety Act and Aged Care Accreditation . This position is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations and requires excellent communication skills, accuracy and attention to detail.

- Demonstrated ability to communicate with residents, other members of the public and staff responsive to resdient focused service requirements including awareness of confidentiality
- Demonstrated knowledge of responsibilities under WHS legislation, demonstrated knowledge of Food and Cleaning service provision and Aged Care Accreditation standards
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, experience working independently and in a team environment
- Previous experience dealing with conflict resolution and staff orientation.
- Knowledge of the operations and performance standards of cleaning and food service provision within a health care environment.
