The Role

The Lead Dental Assistant is responsible for supporting dental assistants and clinical services within the Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network (the Network) Oral Health Service. This includes supervision of dental assistants, management of stores, equipment and the maintenance essential to providing high standard of oral health care to patients in New South Wales (NSW) correctional centres, Youth Justice Centres and the Forensic Hospital. 


This position supports the provision and coordination of teledentistry and mobile dental unit services and is required to visit several sites across metropolitan and regional areas on NSW.
