Position Title: Hospital Services Assistant

Join our Commercial Services team as a Hospital Services Assistant! Long Bay Hospital is based in Malabar, NSW.

Long Bay Hospital is a part of Long Bay Correctional Centre, in this position you will be working in a secure environment to maintain the cleanliness of the hospital, distribute meals to patients and provide linen and waste management services.

Duties Include:

Carry out general cleaning & tidiness of kitchen, wards, offices, and specific Ward maintenance.

Vacuum carpets and maintain floor cleaning standards.

Remove, collect and distribute linen for all wards.

Clean rooms and beds after patient discharge (terminal clean).

Remove waste material including contaminated clinical waste.

Prepare breakfast, lunch, morning and afternoon tea.

Prepare and distribute meals and refreshments to inpatients.
