You will be working at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. The Clinical Trials Coordinator is an integral member of the clinical trials team with responsibilities to assist with, planning, implementation, coordination, data management and reporting of clinical trials conducted within the unit.
The role will assist with the ethical and medico-legal requirements of setting up and undertaking drug/device clinical trials as part of multi-national, national and local studies. It will also ensure the safety and protection of trial participants and the integrity of trial data collected.
- Has relevant qualifications and/or experience in research, clinical trials, or relevant clinical or other health experience.
- Possesses knowledge and experience in clinical research including secure data management, participant trial data collection, skills in coordinating trial participants, ability to rapidly master new concepts and skills, detailed knowledge of HREC and RGO submissions.
- Good working knowledge and understanding of medico-legal, privacy and ethical requirements for research as per the ICH-GCP.
