What you'll be doing 
In this development role, you will support financial planning, reporting and analysis while building strong business partnering capabilities across the facility.

• Assist with budget development, forecasting and reporting
• Analyse month end results and prepare financial insights
• Support journals, reporting processes and data accuracy
• Develop automated reports and performance monitoring tools
• Partner with managers to interpret financial results and trends

 

How to Apply

  1. Relevant tertiary qualification plus extensive work experience within the Finance team of medium to large organisation OR extensive relevant Health experience.

  2. Demonstrated experience in communicating effectively and concisely to staff at various levels of an organisation.

  3. Self-motivated and eager to understand and learn the various components of Health Care and its financial structure and finance requirements.

  4. Demonstrated experience in undertaking analysis of complex financial and performance related data from multiple sources and to develop succinct interpretations of trends and issues arising from such an analysis.

  5. Demonstrated experience in using financial computer systems such as Oracle as well as high level computer skills in PC based applications such as Microsoft Excel (Macros, Power Query), Word and Powerpoint as well as any other standard database / query language like SQL.

  6. Experienced in time management and prioritisation skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

  7. Ability to work both within a team environment and independently and to take direction.
