What you'll be doing

Provide direct nursing care to clients in accordance with the nursing care plan and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Support a system of quality improvement through which outcomes of client care may be measured and contribute to collecting accurate health care information and maintaining accurate health care documentation as required.  

Communicate effectively with clients and other health care team members. Presents a positive image of Community Health Service to the public through a respectful, courteous and professional manner. Advocates values of the organisation through ethical behaviour, professionalism and cultural diversity

Essential Criteria:

Registration: Current Enrolled Nurse Division 2 Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) 

Selection Criteria:

  1. Relevant and recent clinical experience deemed appropriate by WSLHD
  2. Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work.
  3. Demonstrated effective communication skills both written and verbal
  4. Effective interpersonal skills showing initiative and leadership.
  5. Ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team
  6. Commitment to continuing professional development and demonstrated ability to utilise information technology within a variety of applications and willingness to undertake training
