About the Opportunity
Walcha Multi-Purpose Service (MPS) is seeking a motivated and compassionate Enrolled Nurse to join our Community Health team on a casual basis. Nestled in the picturesque Northern Tablelands of New South Wales, Walcha offers a relaxed rural lifestyle, stunning natural surroundings, and a welcoming, close-knit community. As part of our small and supportive Community Health team, you will provide nursing care to clients both within the clinic setting and in their homes. Your responsibilities will include a diverse range of community nursing services such as wound management, urinary catheter insertion and care, peripheral line management, continuous antibiotic infusions, and palliative care support. You will also work closely with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and support positive health outcomes for clients. This role offers excellent professional support, including access to your line manager, Clinical Nurse Educator, Community Nursing Clinical Nurse Specialists across the Integrated Care network, and expert guidance from Wound Care Clinical Nurse Specialists and Clinical Nurse Consultants.

You are a caring and adaptable Enrolled Nurse who enjoys working within a community setting. You can work confidently and independently while building positive relationships with clients, families, carers and healthcare professionals. You are committed to delivering quality care and contributing positively to a supportive team environment.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
✅ Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA.
✅ Eligibility to drive in NSW and the ability and willingness to travel for work purposes.
✅ Experience in community and/or home nursing, or a genuine interest in developing your skills in this area.
✅ The ability to work autonomously and manage a varied caseload.
✅ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
✅ Flexibility and a proactive approach to changing priorities.
✅ A commitment to ongoing professional development.
