The Cessnock District Hospital, a 36-bed facility, provides vital medical services to the local community, including emergency, surgical, and general care. They are looking for proactive and dedicated Enrolled Nurses to join their tight-knit, supportive team. About the Role
As an Enrolled Nurse working in the medical and surgical wards, you will play a key role in delivering and assisting in the assessment, planning, organisation, and evaluation of quality nursing care. Your focus will be on supporting patients to achieve the best possible clinical outcomes while working as part of a collaborative and supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver and assist in coordinating patient-centred nursing care to achieve individual clinical outcomes

Communicate sensitively with patients and families, advocating for their needs and ensuring their voices are heard

Support and inform patients and their families so they can understand clinical interventions and make informed healthcare decisions

Maintain accurate and detailed patient documentation in line with professional standards

Proactively engage with patients to understand their needs and enhance the delivery of care

Ensure nursing practice upholds the rights and dignity of all individuals

Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment
About You
You will bring:
- Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Enrolled Nurse.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-first approach

The ability to work collaboratively within a team
