Blue Mountains District ANZAC Memorial Hospital is an acute hospital that supports a population of approximately 80,000 and is the only ANZAC Memorial hospital remaining in NSW. Easily accessible to Sydney residents, our team of clinicians, allied health, and support staff works with the community on a shared goal to maintain the delivery of high-quality healthcare in the Blue Mountains region.
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Enrolled Nurse to join our Acute Ward team. This role will be committed to delivering safe, person-centred care in partnership with patients, families, carers and the multidisciplinary team. In this position, you will provide care activities in accordance with established nursing care plans under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, working within your scope of practice to meet service needs. The successful incumbent will contribute to the collection of accurate health information and ensure timely, thorough documentation in line with organisational requirements.

What you will bring to the role
- Current registration division 2 (without notation) - Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency AHPRA.
- Experience and demonstrated skill in acute and chronic nursing.
- Demonstrated capacity to provide effective nursing care that is person centred, family inclusive and culturally sensitive to people accessing health services.
- Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work.
- Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills including written and verbal.
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to work a flexible roster, day, evening or night shift across all days of the week according to the unit/service requirements.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development including completion of all mandatory training.
