Be Part of a Team Shaping the Future of Clinical Education Across Regional NSW.
About the Opportunity
Are you the educator other educators come to?
You've spent years building clinical knowledge, designing programs that change practice, and mentoring colleagues who now look to you for guidance. Then this role is for you.
As a Nurse Educator Grade 3 within MLHD's Education and Organisational Development Service, you will lead clinical education strategy and programs across one of regional NSW's most geographically and clinically diverse health districts, a multidisciplinary workforce, and real authority to drive the standard of care through education.
What you'll be doing:
You'll be the expert voice in the room — co-designing simulation programs, setting the quality benchmark for how education is validated and reviewed across the district, and providing the kind of clinical coaching and advisory support that helps senior clinicians and fellow educators do their best work.
You will build the networks that make education land — not just tick a box.
- Design and lead evidence-based education programs across MLHD
- Mentor and professionally develop Clinical Nurse Educators across MLHD
- Set and uphold quality standards through validation, moderation and review of educational activities district-wide
- Partner with senior clinicians and key stakeholders to identify capability gaps and lead targeted solutions
If you're a clinical educator who has outgrown a single-site role and wants a platform to lead, collaborate, and leave a lasting mark on regional healthcare — we want to hear from you.
