About Us
Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District (NBMLHD) is an exceptional environment to advance your career while enhancing your skills and expertise. As a recognised leader in the healthcare industry, we deliver a comprehensive range of public health services across the Nepean, Blue Mountains, and Lithgow Regions.

Blue Mountains District ANZAC Memorial Hospital is an acute hospital that supports a population of approximately 80,000 and is the only ANZAC Memorial hospital remaining in NSW. Easily accessible to Sydney residents, our team of clinicians, allied health, and support staff works with the community on a shared goal to maintain the delivery of high-quality healthcare in the Blue Mountains region.

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Allied Health Assistant to join our Dietetics team and support the delivery of safe, effective, and patient-centred nutritional care. In this role, you will work closely with Clinical Dietitians across allocated wards, contributing to the coordination and implementation of nutrition care for patients with a variety of clinical needs.

The Dietitian Assistant plays a key role in ensuring patients receive appropriate main meals and mid meals and assists in identifying those at nutritional risk through malnutrition screening. Acting as an important liaison between the Dietetics Department, nursing staff, and food service personnel, you will help ensure clear communication and continuity of care across the service.

This position requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care. This position may be required to work across multiple sites, including Blue Mountains, Springwood, and Nepean Hospitals, and flexibility to travel between locations is essential.

Joining our team offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to patient wellbeing within a supportive and dynamic healthcare environment. If you are passionate about nutrition, enjoy working as part of a collaborative team, and are committed to delivering excellent patient care, we encourage you to apply.
