Where you'll be working:
We’re looking for a passionate and dedicated Dietitian to join the Integrated Care Hunter and Mid North Coast Community Diabetes Education Team on a part-time basis (2 days per week).

Based in beautiful Newcastle, NSW, this role offers the opportunity to work within a supportive and collaborative multidisciplinary team, providing medical nutrition therapy and education to people living with diabetes and their carers.

About you:
The Integrated Care Hunter and Mid North Coast Diabetes Team is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Dietitian with a genuine passion for supporting people living with diabetes. In this rewarding role, you’ll work with patients across the spectrum, including type 1, type 2, gestational, and emerging forms of diabetes, delivering high-quality nutritional care tailored to their individual needs.

We’re looking for someone with experience in diabetes management (or a strong interest in developing their skills in this area), who can provide patient-centred, evidence-based care across a range of settings. You’ll be delivering one-on-one consults, group sessions, and telehealth services, and will have the opportunity to work across multiple sites within the local health district.

Requirements:

  • Must hold a bachelor or post graduate degree in nutrition and dietetics that provides eligibility for full membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia, or other qualification deemed equivalent by the employer.
