What you'll be doing
In this hands-on technical role, you’ll deliver high-quality acrylic dental work while supporting clinicians and contributing to an efficient, patient-focused laboratory service.
Produce acrylic dental appliances, repairs and relines to a high professional standard
Manage daily allocated work efficiently in a fast-paced laboratory environment
Provide technical advice and collaborate with clinical staff to resolve complex cases
Maintain infection control standards and comply with WSLHD policies and procedures
Participate in professional development and contribute to team and service meetings

Essential Requirements:
Qualification: Completion of the Diploma of Dental Technology (TAFE NSW) or equivalent course in Dental Technology.
Selection Criteria:
Experience as qualified Dental Technician in all aspects of Acrylic work.
Demonstrated sound technical skills.
Good oral and written communication skills and an ability to liaise effectively with a range of individuals.
Demonstrated ability to work within a team and independently.
Commitment to continuing education.
Demonstrated ability to work to a deadline while providing a high standard of Acrylic work with daily allocations.
