Where you'll be working:
The Armidale Dental Clinic is a 4-chair clinic that provides high quality care to adults and children in the Armidale community and the surrounding communities. Operating 5 days per week from 8:00am to 4:30pm, Armidale Dental Clinic works collaboratively to provide excellent care for patients.

About the role:
As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our busy 4-chair clinic. Reporting to the Clinic Coordinator, you'll handle both clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring efficient delivery of high-quality dental services. Your role will involve providing comprehensive support to our dental team and contributing to exceptional patient experiences. You will be able to work more reliable hours resulting in a better work-life balance.

Ongoing support will be provided by the Clinic Coordinator and a comprehensive orientation program will be provided by the Oral Health management team to ensure your success and professional development in this position. You will be provided with an orientation programme to Hunter New England Oral Health, and you will be supported with regular training and education programmes throughout your career.

About you:
We’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Dental Assistant who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care. You’ll bring strong clinical skills, a solid understanding of infection control, and the ability to assist confidently across a range of oral health procedures. Your excellent communication skills and team-focused mindset will make you a valuable part of our supportive and professional environment. Whether you hold a recognised Certificate III or have solid hands-on experience, we welcome your application.

  • An eligibility list will be created for future permanent part time and temporary part time vacancies.
