About Us – eHealth NSW

At eHealth NSW, we’re leading the digital transformation of Australia’s largest health system. As NSW Health’s digital centre of excellence, we design, build and support world-class ICT solutions that improve patient care across the state.

eHealth is implementing a NSW Health wide Cyber Security Uplift program. This multi-year strategic initiative is designed to enhance cyber resilience across the state's health system. We are working with Local Health Districts, Pillars, and Agencies to improve how we detect and respond to risks and to make sure everyone follows consistent security standards. By investing in modern technologies, governance frameworks, and workforce capability, NSW Health is proactively addressing the evolving cyber threat landscape to safeguard critical health services and patient data.

About the Opportunity

As Cyber Threat Analyst at eHealth NSW, you will help make a real difference in healthcare through playing a critical leadership role in strengthening the cyber resilience of NSW Health.

This role offers the opportunity to shape and drive the enterprise-wide vulnerability management program, coordinating specialist cyber security practitioners to reduce the attack surface across a complex and diverse technology environment.

In this role, you will:

•    Lead and deliver a state-wide vulnerability management program, coordinating stakeholders to drive remediation and reduce cyber risk across NSW Health.
•    Set priorities and execute risk-based remediation strategies aligned to organisational objectives and risk appetite.
•    Monitor the threat landscape and attack surface, providing expert advice on emerging risks and mitigation approaches.
•    Build strong, influential relationships with executive and technical stakeholders, clearly communicating cyber risks and business impacts.
•    Analyse, prioritise and report on vulnerability data to identify threats, gaps and control weaknesses across the technology environment.
•    Support cyber security maturity uplift initiatives, including Essential Eight, vulnerability management platforms, automation and compliance reporting.

About You

•    Extensive hands-on experience with vulnerability management tools, supported by relevant qualifications or equivalent experience, with strong technical capability assessing threats, identifying weaknesses across the technology stack and prioritising remediation.
•    Proven success delivering vulnerability management programs in large, complex organisations, with qualifications and/or certifications applied in practice.
•    Demonstrated ability to engage technology owners and drive consistent, SLA-aligned remediation outcomes.
•    Strong capability managing complex cyber security VM activities, including planning, coordination, reporting, and issue and risk management.
•    Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide clear, business-focused advice.
•    Proven leadership and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience influencing senior stakeholders in high-demand environments; experience in healthcare or critical infrastructure is highly regarded
