CT Senior Radiographer

What you will bring to the role

1. Possess a degree in Medical Radiation Science, current registration with AHPRA as a Medical Radiation Practitioner, and a current Radiation Licence from NSW EPA.
2. Possess an appropriately recognised post graduate qualification relevant to the area of specialisation, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
3. Demonstrated high standard of knowledge and clinical expertise in CT, including quality assurance, protocol development, education and assessment, and quality improvement or research activities.
4. Demonstrated ability to supervise, instruct, support and mentor radiographers and students.
5. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with a high level of initiative and independence in problem solving, as well as working collaboratively and professionally in a multidisciplinary team.
6. Evidence of well-developed written and verbal communication skills for excellent team building, sound conflict resolution and performance feedback, and experience in applying change management strategies.
7. Proven capability to manage operations within a diagnostic radiology department and discharge associated administrative duties, including patient care and throughput, knowledge of relevant legislation and standards, and ability to manage resources effectively.
8. Current licence to drive in NSW with the ability to work at other sites within the LHD as required.
