About the Opportunity

The Coordinator Contracts & Procurement supports the organisation’s end-to-end procurement and contract lifecycle activities. This role plays a key part in the transition to the new Sourcing & Contracts framework, providing coordination, governance support, and practical assistance to business units across NSW Ambulance.
You will contribute to compliant, well-governed procurement outcomes by maintaining accurate records, supporting sourcing and contract management activities, and assisting with the implementation of best-practice procurement and governance processes across the organisation.

About You

You bring enthusiasm, reliability, and a proactive approach to supporting team activities and day-to-day operations. You have strong organisational skills, communicate clearly, and enjoy working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders in a dynamic environment.
You demonstrate a developing understanding of working with data and systems, including confidence navigating spreadsheets, interpreting basic information, and supporting routine reporting activities. You are adaptable, open to guidance, and keen to engage with new tools, processes and systems as the team and organisation evolve.
You are eager to learn, committed to building your capability over time, and bring a positive attitude with a willingness to take initiative. A genuine interest in developing both technical and professional skills will support your success in this role.

You will bring:

  • Attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records, support compliance with procurement policies, and contribute to value-for-money outcomes.
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and provide clear, practical support and advice.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other business systems, with the ability to work with data, support routine reporting, and learn new procurement and contract management systems.
