You’ll be joining a dynamic 14 person team that manages media relations, social media, employee engagement, government relations and complaints across a district spanning 25 local government areas.

About the role:
We’re seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Communications Officer, Digital to join our Strategic Relations and Communications team.
This is a great opportunity for someone early in their communications career who is keen to build practical experience in a supportive and fast paced environment.
The role focuses on managing digital channels and supporting the transition to the whole of government website, while contributing to internal newsletters, media monitoring, social media and content creation.
Working closely with senior staff and subject matter experts, you’ll help deliver clear, engaging messages that support staff, patients and communities across one of NSW’s largest and most diverse health districts.

Additional Information:
- An eligibility list will be created for future temporary full or part time vacancies.
- This position is full time; however, part time/job share arrangements may also be considered.
- To be eligible for employment in this position you must be an Australian Citizen, or permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport, or hold an appropriate visa that allows you to live and work in Australia. Employment of a temporary visa holder will only be offered in line with the conditions and expiry date of your visa.
