Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District (NBMLHD) is an exceptional environment to advance your career while enhancing your skills and expertise. As a recognised leader in the healthcare industry, we deliver a comprehensive range of public health services across the Nepean, Blue Mountains, and Lithgow Regions.

Nepean Hospital is a teaching hospital that provides tertiary referral services in emergency care, coronary care, diagnostics, gynaecology, paediatric, neonatal intensive care/ICU, maternity, mental health, rehabilitation, and surgery. The Nepean Campus has recently experienced tremendous growth and aims to support communities within and outside of Sydney’s western suburbs, providing world-class clinical facilities, services, and care.

Our Division of Medicine is seeking a highly organised and motivated Clinical Research Coordinator to support the delivery of high‑quality clinical research. In this role, you will coordinate conduct of research in line with ICH Good Clinical Practice, the NHMRC National Statement, the Australian Code for Responsible Conduct of Research and all ethical and governance requirements.

You will manage key research activities including feasibility assessments, project initiation, consent processes, data management, site file documentation management, study close‑out, as well as research implementation and translation activities. The role also supports ethics and governance submissions, amendments and CAPA reporting.

Working closely with project investigators, clinicians, research teams, relevant clinical departments, and external partners such as CROs, sponsors and regulatory bodies, you will help ensure research is conducted in alignment with the accreditation requirements outlined in the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care's National Clinical Trials Governance Framework.

If you are passionate about clinical research, enjoy collaborative work and are committed to high‑quality, ethical research practice, we encourage you to apply today!
