The Role

Plan, coordinate, assess and deliver high quality Psychology assessments and treatments for management of outpatients with chronic pain conditions seen in the multidisciplinary St George Pain Management Unit consistent with South Eastern Sydney Local health District (SESLHD) policies, procedures and standards. To conduct a pain management program in association with other team members.

Selection Criteria

  1. Full Registration AHPRA / Psychology Board of Australia. Two-year full-time equivalent accredited postgraduate Masters/Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology. Full endorsement with Psychology Board in the area of Clinical Psychology/eligible to progress to ‘Clinical Psychology Registrar” status.
  2. Experience working clinically with people with persistent pain and/or chronic illness
  3. Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills
  4. Experience working in a multidisciplinary team
  5. Ability to advocate for individuals and services in a positive manner
