About the Role
Working closely with the Health Service Manager, Nursing and Midwifery Unit Managers, and Clinical Nurse Educators, you’ll play a pivotal role in strengthening clinical governance, quality systems, and workforce capability across Inverell Hospital.
Your focus will include:
- Leading and embedding Quality and Work Health & Safety initiatives
- Supporting clinical recruitment and workforce sustainability
- Driving and coordinating clinical programs and improvement projects
- Providing senior clinical leadership and advice across the facility
- Being a visible, approachable presence who supports teams through change
This role suits someone who enjoys variety, autonomy, and influence - balancing big-picture thinking with practical, people-centred leadership. You’ll be well supported by the Health Service Manager, Nurse Unit Managers (NUMs), Quality Managers and WHS Coordinator, with scope to genuinely shape how things are done.

Requirements
- Registered Nurse with current registration with AHPRA
- Relevant post graduate qualifications in clinical leadership or management, or willingness to undertake same.
