About the Opportunity
As a Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) at West Wyalong Health Service, you will be instrumental in the development and career success of the nursing team. You will be the go-to expert for nursing education, providing engaging evidence-based programs and support to enhance clinical knowledge and skills. Reap the benefit of your patient and customised approach to education; ensuring all nursing staff can apply their learning to clinical practice and deliver safe, high-quality healthcare.
As the CNE, and ideal candidate you will:
- Deliver and coordinate clinical education and professional development
- Orient, supervise and mentor staff, students and TPP participants
- Promote clinical leadership, best practice and a positive learning culture
- Contribute to district-wide education, training and policy development
- Provide unit-based and individual education and skill support
- Delegate and support Nurses and others within scope of practice
- Maintain contemporary practice and meet CNE/CME Framework requirements
- Participate in audits, quality activities and care delivery aligned with safety standards
