The Aged Care Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) is a vital member of the multidisciplinary health care team (MDT), delivering high-quality, person-centred care to residents and supporting nursing staff across Leeton Aged Care unit. This role focuses on fostering clinical excellence, professional growth, and best-practice care delivery in an environment where every day makes a difference.

About the Opportunity

As a Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) within Leeton Aged Care unit, you’ll play a key role in shaping the skills, confidence, and success of the nursing team. You’ll lead the way in education and professional development, delivering engaging, evidence-based programs that empower staff to provide the highest quality of aged care.

Your leadership and mentoring will help ensure that residents receive safe, compassionate, and person-centred support every day.

In this role you will:

  • Deliver evidence-based, person-centred care aligned with professional standards and legislation.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to enhance resident outcomes and wellbeing.
  • Lead continuous quality improvement initiatives and promote a culture of safety, learning, and professional growth.

About You

Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and respond flexibly, to changing clinical priorities.
  • A commitment to patient-centred care, cultural safety, and continuous professional development.
  • Our facility is an identified NDIS service that will require the successful candidate to successfully obtain an NDIS Worker Check (NDISWC) prior to commencement of role.
