About the role
Join our Mental Health Service as a Clinical Nurse Educator and take the lead in supporting the education, development and capability of mental health clinicians across Bathurst, Mudgee and Cowra. Working part-time business hours, this role plays a pivotal role in delivering education programs, facilitating learning opportunities and promoting evidence-based practice to ensure staff are equipped to provide high-quality mental health care.
Based within Bathurst Community Mental Health, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team of Registered Nurses, Psychologists, Social Workers and Psychiatrists dedicated to delivering quality care to the local community. Supported by experienced senior clinicians, you will have the opportunity to influence clinical practice, strengthen workforce capability and contribute to positive outcomes for both staff and consumers.
In this dynamic role, you will collaborate with nursing, allied health and medical staff to identify learning needs, coordinate professional development activities and provide mentorship and clinical support across a range of mental health settings. Your expertise will contribute to workforce development initiatives, support clinical excellence and help foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
