Clinical Nurse Consultant (Grade 2) - Cardiology
Position Classification: Clinical Nurse Consultant Grade 2
Remuneration: $2,527.30 - $2,577.70 per week + annual leave loading + 11.5% Superannuation

About the Role
You will be working at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. Co-ordinate the patient’s process through the hospital system by providing complex case management, facilitate timely access to care and support discharge planning.

Recognise deteriorating/unstable patients based on verbal and written clinical handovers (including diagnostic tests, ie bloods, ECGs, etc) and liaise with Patient Flow Unit on the priority and plans of Inter-hospital transfers.
- Current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) and 5 years full time equivalent post registration experience, with at least 3 years full time equivalent experience in the specialty field.
- Holds approved postgraduate qualifications relevant to the specialty or such other qualifications or experience deemed appropriate.
- Recent Clinical experience in Cardiology in a Tertiary Referral setting.
- Able to work a Monday to Friday roster.
- Previous experience in patient flow or at least understanding of patient flow (beneficial not mandatory)
