Where you'll be working
This is a part-time, permanent position based at Calvary Mater Mental Health Centre.
The Inpatient Psychology Department delivers comprehensive adult mental health inpatient services across three hospital sites: Calvary Mater Mental Health Centre at Waratah, the Intermediate Stay Mental Health Unit (ISMHU) at Newcastle West, and Morisset Hospital. Morisset Hospital is a specialist rehabilitation service providing care for both civilian and forensic patients.

What you'll be doing
In this role, you will deliver specialist clinical neuropsychological services to adult and older adult inpatients across the Mater Mental Health Centre and the Intermediate Stay Mental Health Unit (ISMHU). You will undertake comprehensive neuropsychological assessments, provide evidence-based psychological interventions, and work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to support high-quality, recovery-oriented care.
The position offers access to ongoing training, professional development opportunities, and regular clinical supervision. You will be supported by a skilled and experienced team of psychologists within the Inpatient Psychology Department, alongside dedicated on-site multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements 

  • Completion of an Australian Psychology Accreditation Council accredited postgraduate clinical neuropsychology qualification of no less than two years full time duration or recognised equivalent, displayed on the Psychology Board of Australia website.
  • Eligible to drive in NSW and the ability and willingness to travel for work purposes which may involve driving long distances.
