About the role - Clinical Midwife Educator
This role is pivotal in supporting New Graduate Midwives across the full scope of midwifery practice, including antenatal care, labour and birth, and postnatal services. Our service is rapidly growing, with approximately 2,300 births per year, offering a dynamic and diverse clinical environment.
The position focuses on facilitating a smooth and supported transition for newly registered midwives during their graduate year. Through mentorship, education, and clinical guidance, the role aims to build confidence, competence, and professional resilience, setting graduates up for long-term success in their midwifery careers.
The successful applicants will contribute to the development and delivery of a tailored orientation program, aligned to individual learning needs. Ongoing support will be provided by the Midwifery Manager and the broader Clinical Midwifery Educator (CME) team, fostering a collaborative and supportive educational culture.

Requirements:
- Registered as a Midwife with AHPRA .
- Education qualifications in Adult Education or hold a Current Workplace Training and Assessment cert IV or willing to work towards.
