Employment with Mid North Coast LHD requires candidates to hold a valid authority to work in Australia (Australian Work Rights Visa).  You must attach to your application in order to progress.

This is a casual vacancy where shifts will be allocated as needed. The dietitian casual pool may also be used for filling short term contracts during periods of planned and unplanned leave.

About the Role
We’re looking for a Clinical Dietitian to deliver high-quality, evidence-based nutrition care across inpatient and outpatient/community settings within the Mid North Coast Local Health District. You’ll assess and manage patients’ nutritional needs using the Nutrition Care Process, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to support optimal outcomes.

The role also involves maintaining accurate clinical records and reporting, contributing to quality improvement initiatives, and participating in education - both for staff and students. You’ll be part of a collaborative team environment that values continuous learning, patient safety, and innovation in care delivery.

About You
You’re a qualified Dietitian with a recognised degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, eligible for full membership with Dietitians Australia. You bring solid clinical experience and a strong understanding of evidence-based practice within a healthcare setting.

You’re an effective communicator who works well within multidisciplinary teams, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver patient-centred care. You’re also committed to ongoing professional development and quality improvement. A current NSW driver’s licence is essential.
