Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursing Unit Manager (NUM) to join our Drug & Alcohol Service – Opioid Treatment Program (OTP).
This is an exciting opportunity to step into a leadership position where you'll guide a committed team delivering essential care to people affected by opioid dependency.
This position is to backfill the NUM returning from maternity relief on reduce hours position. Should the permanent incumbent require return to the role in a full-time capacity, therefore there are no claims to permanency. This temporary part time positions may be extended if the permanent incumbent extended their period of reduces hours.
About the Role
- Patient Care Co-Ordination and the Practice of Nursing
- Nursing Staff management and leadership
- OTP Unit Management
- Maintain a professional reporting line to the Nurse Manager, Drug & Alcohol /HIV and Related Programs.
- You will work weekdays – Monday through Friday

About You
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with extensive recent post registration clinical experience and knowledge of current nursing issues.
- Working With Children Check
- National Criminal Record Check
- Category A vaccination
