Better health for everyone.  We are seeking an experience Nurse Manager Grade 3 to oversee the operational management of our site - leading clinical teams, managing emergency response, driving quality and safety, and managing workforce strategy.

About the Role

As a Nurse Manager Grade 3, you will be the clinical and operational cornerstone of our nursing services. Your leadership will ensure exceptional patient care and optimal health outcomes for the community. Based at Gosford Hospital, you will oversee the operational management of our site within a 24/7 roster:

  • Efficiently manage resources to deliver exceptional patient care within budget and performance goals.

  • Lead recruitment, development, and performance to build a strong, supportive nursing team.

  • Drive patient safety and quality improvements, ensuring accreditation compliance.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop policies that enhance nursing practice and service.

  • Oversee operational planning, monitor performance, and implement ongoing improvements.

About You

  • You hold current AHPRA registration with extensive clinical experience and proven nursing team leadership.

  • You have relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience, guiding teams to solve challenges and grow leadership skills.

  • You set goals and lead change initiatives, supported by your clinical leadership background.

  • You bring strong computer and financial skills to manage budgets and optimize resources effectively.

  • You build strong relationships, communicate well, and champion workforce retention using your clinical and management expertise.
