CCLHD - Dental Assistant Grade 2 - Talent Pool

1. A nationally recognised Dental Assisting Certificate at Certificate Level IV, or qualifications deemed by the Ministry of Health to be equivalent, and demonstrated significant experience as a Dental Assistant within a public oral health environment.
2. Demonstrated leadership qualities and proven ability to supervise and motivate staff, including coaching and mentoring skills.
3. Demonstrated ability to work independently with good time management skills.
4. Detailed knowledge of infection control and sterilising standards, policies and procedures.
5. Excellent oral and written communication skills including computer literacy and accurate data entry.
6. Proven high-level problem solving and prioritisation skills, and demonstrated ability to make clear decisions in pressure situations
7. Current NSW drivers’ licence
8. Demonstrated understanding of how the District is Caring for the Coast and how this role would contribute.
