As our Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will play a vital role in shaping the development of clinical processes, policies and procedures related to clinical processes to promote the advancement of clinical practice.

About the Role
This role offers a unique opportunity to combine your advanced clinical and leadership skills to deliver professional, competent, and culturally sensitive care environment. This leadership role is culturally responsive and provides effective quality care for Aboriginal families with complex needs.
You will provide specialist clinical services to Aboriginal families and carers, focusing on accurate documentation, collaborative care planning, and achieving positive health outcomes. As a clinical leader in Child & Family Health, you have the opportunity to mentor other professionals and contribute to enhancing service capability through a culturally informed lens.
This position is ideal for an experienced nurse who thrives in a specialised clinical setting and is motivated to make a meaningful impact by shaping the skills and confidence of fellow nurses.

About You
- Whilst this position is open to all individuals, it is targeted to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people under section 21 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977. - Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with relevant post-registration qualifications and at least 3 years' experience working in the clinical area of their specified post-graduate qualification, or such other qualifications or equivalent experience deemed appropriate by the public hospital or public health organisation.
