Hunter New England Mental Health Service is seeking applications from suitably qualified clinicians to join the Consultation Liaison Psychiatry Service.

Candidates must have:
Applicants must possess General Registration with AHPRA
Possess at least three years post-graduate experience and appropriate training and experience in Consultant Liaison Psychiatry

About the service:
HNEMH provides a wide range of mental health services throughout the Hunter New England Health district, supported by over 1,600 staff. Our care spans all ages and levels - from early intervention to inpatient and community-based recovery services. We’re dedicated to providing person-centred care, advancing research, and fostering education and training across all disciplines.

Our services are structured by geographic areas and age groups - child & adolescent, adult, and older persons - and are supported by skilled multidisciplinary teams including psychiatrists, registrars, allied health, nurses, and administrative staff. Consultants work collaboratively and may provide peer support and cross-cover across the Greater Newcastle and Lake Macquarie regions.
