Are you a dedicated medical professional passionate about providing patient‑centred care in a dynamic and modern care environment?
We’re looking for a Career Medical Officer (CMO) to join our Hospital in the Home (HITH) team in beautiful Coffs Harbour.

As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you’ll deliver safe, high‑quality, coordinated care for patients receiving acute treatment in their own homes. About this Role
The primary purpose of the position is to provide Hospital in the Home (HITH) patients with safe, appropriate, patient focused, outcome directed, coordinated quality care that meets professional standards and is based on best practice standards.   To input into the management and long-term development of Hospital in the Home (HITH) .  

What you'll be doing
✔ Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and deliver high‑quality, evidence‑based care
✔ Communicate clearly with patients, families, and care teams to support seamless clinical journeys
✔ Maintain accurate clinical documentation
✔ Participate in teaching, supervision, and quality improvement activities
✔ Contribute to research and ongoing service development
✔ Strengthen the HITH model through collaborative, patient‑focused practice

About You

MBBS or equivalent, with AHPRA registration (or eligibility)
Postgraduate clinical experience suited to the CMO award grading
Strong clinical judgement and the ability to work independently within a supervised environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to ongoing learning, patient safety, and quality care
Current WWCC, National Police Check, and compliance with NSW Health vaccination requirements
