Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) is seeking dynamic Career Medical Officers to join our team at Canterbury Hospital.
Are you a current medical practitioner, registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia with minimum of five (5) years of post-graduate experience through various rotations in a public hospital, one (1) year of recent experience in general paediatrics and six (6) months of experience in neonatal medicine?
The Career Medical Officers (CMO) forms part of a multidisciplinary team ensuring high quality, evidence-based care for infants and children across Canterbury Hospital, including in the Paediatric Ward, Special Care Nursery, Postnatal ward, Paediatric Emergency and outpatient clinics. The CMO will work in close collaboration senior medical staff and to further develop the paediatrics service through contributing to non-clinical portfolios including teaching, supervision, rostering and quality improvement activities.
