About the role
Casino District & Memorial Hospital's Emergency Department is seeking CMOs to provide independent, high level medical care, including responsibility for the assessment, investigation and initial management of patients presenting to the ED and admitted to inpatient wards. The CMO will be supervised by specialist staff and provide supervision and support to junior medical staff in the Emergency Department. This role involves working across a 24/7 roster pattern.
The position also serves to support the completion of the Emergency Medicine Certificate (EMC) or Emergency Medicine Diploma (EMD) through the Australian College of Emergency Medicine.
Also known as the Rainbow Region, this area is blessed with stunning forests and waterfalls, fertile farming land, artistic villages and relaxed seaside communities. For a different type of scene, you can drive to the Gold Coast or Brisbane in under 3 hours.
