What you'll be doing
In this role, you will deliver high‑quality cardiac diagnostic and interventional services across inpatient, outpatient and private referrals, ensuring exceptional patient‑centred care.
You will:
Perform and support ECGs, exercise stress testing, Holter and loop monitoring
Conduct CIED, ICD and remote home monitoring follow‑ups
Support cardiac catheter procedures, device implantation and programmable stimulators
(Grade 2) Perform electrophysiological studies using advanced 3D mapping systems
Contribute to training, supervision, quality improvement, research and safe clinical practice

Essential Requirements
Qualification: Bachelor of Science or Health Degree.
Selection Criteria
External relevant and proven Cardiac Technologist experience with ECG’s, Holter monitoring, Exercise Stress Testing, CIED checks / Implants and Electrophysiology studies.
Demonstrates ability to recognise and document abnormal ECG waveforms.
Ability to work and participate on the Cardiac Catheter Lab Area wide after hours On Call roster.
Demonstrates proficiency in computer skills and software programs – Microsoft office, Patient Management System (iPM’s Powerchart and Cerner) and other standard Health Service applications including, but not limited to SARA, HETI and AFM online.
Demonstrates ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Current Drivers License valid within Australia.
Criminal Record check and working with children checks.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
