Southern NSW Local Health District covers a large area of the southern half of NSW. What you'll be doing
The Cancer System Innovation Manager (CSIM) provides critical clinical, strategic and change leadership and stakeholder engagement across the Southern NSW LHD (SNSWLHD). The role will develop and implement strategies that deliver coordinated, high quality care and services to people living with cancer in the SNSWLHD.  This position is funded by the Cancer Institute NSW (CINSW) to improve system performance consistent with priorities and strategic directions of the NSW Cancer Plan.

Selection Criteria:

  1. Tertiary qualifications in a Health related field and/or extensive relevant experience within a health care setting.

  2. Proven experience as a change leader capable of developing innovation and affecting change at a senior level.

  3. Demonstrated high level of interpersonal and communication skills with the capacity to engage and negotiate with a range of internal and external stakeholders and produce strategic planning documents and comprehensive analytical reports.

  4. Demonstrated successful experience at a senior level working in the private or public sector.

  5. Demonstrated high level of skill in the analysis of health data.

  6. Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple projects with conflicting timelines and the ability to work effectively and autonomously.

  7. Evidence of a current unrestricted drivers' licence and the ability to maintain. Ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires. This may involve driving long distances and overnight stays.
