Join a role that makes a real difference to Cancer Services across SWSLHD by delivering high-level analytical and technical solutions that support essential clinical and business systems. As a Senior Analyst, you will play a key role in maximising the use of ICT, driving innovative technology projects, strengthening system security and resilience, and ensuring the reliability of critical infrastructure.
Working across multidisciplinary teams, the position contributes to improved service delivery through infrastructure optimisation, cybersecurity initiatives, disaster recovery planning, and the implementation of current and emerging technologies that support patient care and operational excellence.
Are You the Right Fit?
The successful candidate will bring extensive experience in ICT infrastructure support, systems analysis, network and server administration, and the delivery of customer-focused technical solutions within a complex environment. The role requires strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clinicians, managers, vendors, and system administrators to understand business needs and deliver quality outcomes.
Experience in project management, helpdesk support, Active Directory administration, system security, disaster recovery, staff training, and policy compliance will be highly regarded. Candidates who demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, a commitment to continuous improvement, and the capacity to provide critical support in a fast-paced healthcare environment will be well positioned to succeed in this rewarding role.
Selection Criteria
To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.
- Tertiary qualifications in computing or equivalent industry experience and/or industry certifications.
- Demonstrated experience in computer servers, SAN, PCs hardware and software including local area networks and peripherals in a health environment, preferably in oncology
Demonstrated experience with SQL databases and Citrix delivered applications.
