- Demonstrated experience in providing genetics services or working within a genetics unit or related area
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to working in a team environment in a tertiary health setting, including but not limited to working with medical specialists, pathology, administrative and allied health staff
Understanding of the needs of cancer patients, including psychosocial needs and treatment planning particularly as it relates to genetic testing
