Sydney Children's Hospitals Network is the largest paediatric health care entity in Australia. We care for thousands of children each year in our hospitals and in their homes — with one purpose in mind — to help young people live their healthiest lives.

What you'll be doing

'NETS', The Newborn & pædiatric Emergency Transport Service is a state-wide service of NSW Health; hosted and administered by the Sydney Children's Hospitals Network on behalf of NSW Health.

It is the only service of its kind in Australia, providing expert clinical advice, clinical co-ordination, emergency treatment and stabilisation and inter-hospital transport for very sick or injured babies and children up to the age of 16 years

NETS operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The Business Manager supports the Service with the oversight and monitoring financial performance, strategic budgetary planning and development of financial initiatives (such as billing and cost recovery). 

About You
We’re looking for someone who:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in business / accounting / finance and/or previous experience in a financial management role, or a combination of study and work experience.
  • Highly developed and proven financial skills including highly developed analytical and strategic skills.
  • Ability to identify upcoming needs or improvements at the request of the Executive as well as independently and prepare Budgets suitable for achieving those goals.
