Achieve Something Great
The Business Analyst will be part of a dynamic and innovative team, delivering a transformational project to improve referral information and processes using a contemporary digital platform. You will be working with outpatient services and clinic staff across South Western Sydney Local Health District. You will be part of the eReferral project team, and will have support from the Project Manager, Change Manager, Digital Health PMO and other networks.

The ideal candidate will excel at capturing business requirements and transforming them into improved workflow processes that support effective project delivery. They will contribute across the full project life cycle-engaging stakeholders through workshops and reviews, conducting research to embed best‑practice models, and performing options analyses and impact assessments to guide seamless change. With strong skills in analysing current‑state workflows, supporting design activities, developing technical specifications, and collaborating with clinicians, ICT teams and vendors, they will play a key role in shaping future‑state solutions. The candidate will also assist with comprehensive testing, develop and deliver high‑quality training materials, support end‑user education, and actively participate in system demonstrations. Additionally, they will support go‑live activities, rollout, and post‑implementation reviews to ensure smooth transitions and continuous improvement.
Selection Criteria
To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.
1. Demonstrated experience as a business analyst within a large public health or hospital organisation or extensive clinical experience in hospital environment.
2. Demonstrated experience in conducting business process redesign, documentation of workflow, data flow analysis diagrams, and ability to manage risks and issues within a project.
3. Demonstrated strong negotiation skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and key stakeholders both internal and external to the organisation to achieve desired outcomes.
4. Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
