About The Opportunity
The Connected Care Service Business Analyst provides an exciting opportunity to drive innovation and lead the implementation of transformational healthcare initiatives as part of the South Western Sydney Local Health District (SWSLHD) Connected Care Service. The role involves collaboration with SWSLHDs dynamic network of clinical, digital and operational teams to shape the future of healthcare delivery. You’ll be part of a dynamic team focused on enhancing health outcomes by analysing data, informing decision-making, supporting clinical engagement, and delivering service improvement initiatives. 
 
 
Who We're Looking For 
The ideal candidate will possess well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in supporting projects within the healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will also have experience working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, with strong communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills. This includes a proven ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain high standards in the delivery of core project work.
 
 
What You'll Be Doing
The Business Analyst will assist with the initiation and delivery of Connected Care projects, including consultation activities, data collection and analysis, and performance reporting.

The position will support the team to evaluate current services and identify opportunities for innovation, develop new virtual clinical pathways, and lead change management initiatives. The role therefore requires extensive collaboration with both clinical and non-clinical staff, patients and consumers to align SWSLHD services with community needs.

  1. Relevant tertiary qualifications or relevant equivalent work experience in health management, business analytics or a related discipline, and/or appropriate experience within the healthcare system.
  2. Experience engaging with multidisciplinary teams across a large and complex organisation, with strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
  3. Demonstrated ability to manage conflicting priorities, timeframes and deadlines whilst maintaining high standards and quality of core project work. 
  4. Ability to understand business requirements and analyse and document workflows and processes. 
  5. Well-developed organising, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, the capacity to successfully manage competing priorities and meet deadlines. 
  6. Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
