About the Role
The Billing Liaison Officer ensures the efficient and effective revenue collection for patient services for the Local Health District and is responsible for supporting resolution of billing requests from HealthShare NSW and within the Local Health District (LHD). This role coordinates escalations and solutions and addresses various issues that arise.
Support troubleshooting, error corrections and update of missing billing data and liaise with frontline staff for input and confirmation as appropriate for resolution. Review and action miscellaneous revenue reports to capture potential missed revenue and act as an internal liaison within the LHD to support general billing and revenue related queries. Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to provide advice and resolve issues in accordance with policies and procedures.
About You
You will need to have demonstrated knowledge and capacity in providing administrative support at a senior level as well as demonstrated high level computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office Suite such as Word, Excel, Outlook & Teams. Proven high level organisation skills including the ability to effectively problem solve, show initiative and prioritise workload while maintaining a high attention to detail.
