About the Opportunity
Make a genuine difference in the lives of clients as an Assistant in Nursing (AIN) within our Transitional Aged Care Program (TACP) based at Kurri Kurri.
This is a rewarding community-based role where you'll support clients in their own homes following hospitalisation, helping them maintain independence, achieve their recovery goals and feel confident managing their day-to-day activities. You'll work closely with a supportive multidisciplinary team while enjoying the variety and independence that comes with community nursing.
What You Will Be Doing
As an AIN within the TACP team, you will provide practical, respectful and person-centred support to clients in their homes.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting clients with personal care and activities of daily living.
- Providing simple wound care within your scope of practice.
- Providing medication prompts as directed.
- Supporting clients with home-based exercise programs developed by Physiotherapists.
- Assisting with light domestic duties to support clients to remain safely at home.
- Supporting clients with grocery shopping and community access.
- Providing transport to appointments where required.
- Observing and reporting changes in a client's condition or wellbeing to the appropriate clinical team member.
- Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to support individual client goals.
About you

Essential Requirements
- Certificate III in Assistant in Nursing.
- Current NSW unrestricted driver's licence.
- Ability and willingness to travel to clients' homes.
