About the Role
Our facility is excited to be seeking new Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to join our dedicated team in delivering high-quality, safe and effective nursing care.
In this role, you will:
Support nursing staff in delivering person-centred care
Provide safe, timely and culturally appropriate care to patients with a wide range of physical and/or mental health needs
Assist in implementing and evaluating care plans
Contribute to healthcare planning and clinical pathway development
Deliver care in line with the National Patient Safety and Quality Health Service Standards
Promote evidence-informed practice within the ward/unit
This is a hands-on role in a supportive team where your contribution directly impacts patient outcomes and community wellbeing.
As our next AIN, you will:
Have strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Be able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Be committed to patient-centred care
Understand legal and ethical parameters of practice
Align with NSW Health Code of Conduct and HNE Health Values
How we'll support you:
Thorough orientation including supernumery days
Support from the Enrolled Nurses (EN's), Registered Nurses (RN's), Clinical Nurse Educators (CNE's) and our Nurse Unit Managers (NUM's).
Ongoing clinical skill development
Confidence in clinical pathway participation
Expanded understanding of evidence-based practice
