What you'll be doing
In this senior Dental Assistant role, you will coordinate daily clinic operations while providing high-level chairside and leadership support within a specialist dental department.
Deliver expert chairside assistance for specialist and complex procedures
Coordinate clinic operations, rostering, stock control and workflow efficiency
Support the Head of Department with recruitment, onboarding, training and performance management
Oversee WH&S, infection control, quality improvement and compliance activities
Provide clinical orientation and support to students and staff using specialist equipment

Essential Requirements
Qualifications: Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting (Oral Health Promotion, Dental Radiography or Dental Sedation)
Selection Criteria
Proven excellent dental assisting skills across a range of Dental Specialties.
Effective oral and written communication skills with demonstrated interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution skills.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve a shared purpose.
Proven high level knowledge of infection control and WH&S procedures within the clinical setting.
Knowledge of and confidence in the use of computer based patient information and corporate systems.
Effective time management and organisation skills and ability to prioritise tasks, work under pressure to meet timelines and attention to detail.
