About the Role

This position will be based across Community Health Centres and Services based at Croydon, Canterbury, Camperdown, Redfern, Marrickville CHC.

Sydney Local Health District has a long and proud history of delivering care in the community including prevention, early intervention, assessment, treatment, health maintenance and continuing care services designed to improve and support the health and wellbeing of individuals and communities.

To provide high quality, person-centred, evidence-informed allied health services across a range of community mental health teams, as part of a casual pool workforce supporting flexible and responsive care to consumers, families, and carers in line with Sydney Local Health District’s community mental health service needs.

Shifts may occur across any of the community-based teams within the SLHD. Shifts may be day shifts or part of a rotating roster depending on the Community Mental Health Team. There will be both community based, and centre-based duties required in the role.

Ideal Candidate

  

  • Recognised tertiary qualifications appropriate to profession. Full registration and eligibility for membership to professional association, as appropriate.
  • Demonstrated competencies to provide contemporary mental health practice.
  • Current NSW Drivers Licence (P1 and P2 acceptable).
  • Previous experience working in Mental Health is desirable
