About the role

The Allied Health Assistant is employed to assist Allied Health staff undertake specified patient care, as well as some administrative and non-treatment activities. The Allied Health Assistant will work under the direction of Allied Health professionals and act in accordance with the Allied Health Assistants Guidelines.

The Physiotherapy Department at Tweed Valley Hospital is seeking an experienced Allied Health Assistant to support our physiotherapy team. This role involves assisting physiotherapists in delivering high-quality services to both inpatient and outpatient clients, with the aim of achieving optimal health outcomes.  Under the direct supervision of our physiotherapists, the Allied Health Assistant will provide both clinical and administrative support to help facilitate effective patient care
